PM plants sindoor sapling as tribute to 1971 war 'viranganas'

On World Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi planted a sindoor sapling at his residence. The plant, gifted by brave women of the 1971 war, symbolises courage, tradition and national resolve—especially in the wake of Operation Sindoor, India’s military response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
