Mountaineering legend Nirmal Purja dies in Broad Peak avalanche

Record-breaking mountaineer Nirmal "Nims" Purja has died in an avalanche on Broad Peak in the Karakoram range. His expedition company confirmed the tragedy, saying several members of the climbing team also lost their lives.
