Gadkari emphasized that this corridor's development aims to reduce travel time to key cities such as Jabalpur, Bhopal, Betul, and Indore. It will establish crucial connections between urban nodes through National Highway (NH) and State Highway (SH) networks, along with other vital city roads. The construction of bypasses for traffic on National Highways and State Highways is expected to enhance road safety by limiting commercial traffic movement within towns.
