Gangster-turned-politician Anant Kumar Singh released on parole ahead of Mokama polls

Former gangster-turned-politician Anant Kumar Singh, whose wife recently shifted allegiance from the opposition RJD to CM Nitish Kumar's JD(U), was released on parole from Beur jail near Patna, arriving at his Mokama home, about 100 km away, in an ambulance on Sunday.
