Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday expressed deep concern over the brutal stray dog attack on Premchand, a speech-impaired boy who was seriously injured in Hayatnagar on Tuesday. The Chief Minister, who is currently in Delhi, learned about the incident and immediately instructed Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) officials to initiate swift action against the stray dog menace.
He instructed the officials to ensure the best treatment to the boy and conveyed wishes for a speedy recovery. He also instructed the GHMC Commissioner to visit the hospital, meet the family of the victim, assess their needs, and extend all required government support without any delay.
Taking serious note of the growing incidents of stray dog attacks, the Chief Minister ordered immediate measures for controlling the stray population to prevent recurrences of such incidents.
