RSS chief Mohanrao Bhagwat arrived in Ranchi today for a 10-day visit to Jharkhand. Sources indicate that Bhagwat will not only hold crucial meetings with RSS cadres but is also expected to discuss strategies for reinstating the BJP government in the state.

 

Bhagwat's visit includes attending a meeting of province pracharaks from across the country, scheduled from July 12 to 14. This gathering follows a two-month series of Sangh training classes held in May and June, with representatives from all 46 provinces of the RSS in attendance.

 

The meeting will cover several key topics, including the implementation of plans for the coming year, the travel itinerary for Sarsanghchalak and Sarkaryavah for 2024-25, and preparations for the RSS's centenary year in 2025-26.

 

Senior RSS leaders, including Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale and co-Sarkaryavahs Dr. Krishna Gopal, CR Mukund, Arun Kumar, Ramdutt Chakradhar, Alok Kumar, and Atul Limaye, along with members of the All India Executive Board, will participate in the discussions.

 

Sources also revealed that there will be discussions on strategies for the BJP's return to power in Jharkhand. This follows similar secret meetings by the RSS aimed at unseating the Baghel government in Chhattisgarh.

 

Bhagwat is staying at Sarala-Birla University, where several BJP workers and close aides of former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das are currently active.
