Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has welcomed BJP national president Nitin Nabin on his visit to the state. He said the visit would bring new energy to the party organisation.
Dhami said Nabin’s arrival in “Devbhoomi Uttarakhand” would motivate party workers and strengthen development work in the state. He also extended a warm welcome on behalf of the people of Uttarakhand.
In a post on X, Dhami shared "Heartfelt welcome and felicitations to the honourable National President of the world's largest political party, the Bharatiya Janata Party, Nitin Nabin, on the sacred land of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Your arrival in Uttarakhand will infuse the organisation with new energy, inspire the workers, and further strengthen the resolve for the state's development. On behalf of the people of Devbhoomi, a warm welcome and felicitations to you."
Earlier, the Chief Minister chaired a high-level meeting in Dehradun to finalise preparations for the BJP chief’s visit. The meeting was held at his official residence on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, MPs Trivendra Singh Rawat and Anil Baluni, along with General Secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar. Leaders discussed the schedule and arrangements for the upcoming visit.
According to the party, Nitin Nabin will be on a three-day visit to Dehradun from May 28 to 30. Party workers are preparing to give him a grand welcome at over 25 locations between Jolly Grant Airport and the BJP state office.
He is expected to arrive at Jolly Grant Airport at 4:35 pm on May 28. From there, he will go directly to the BJP state office and attend a core committee meeting at 6:15 pm, followed by a meeting with ministers.
On the second day, he will meet the Chief Minister in the morning. Later, he will visit the residence of former Chief Minister B C Khanduri to offer condolences to the family.
After that, he will reach Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels on Rajpur Road for a series of meetings. He will first interact with MPs and MLAs, followed by discussions with state office bearers, morcha presidents, and district-level leaders.
In the afternoon, he will meet local body representatives including mayors, municipal leaders, and panchayat officials. Later in the evening, he will hold meetings with media, IT, social media, and spokesperson teams.
On the final day, Nabin will visit Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple for prayers. He will also visit Booth No. 141 president’s home in Dakra, Garhi Cantt for breakfast. Later, he will attend a meeting with Booth Committee 138 of Durgamall Mandal.
