Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay announced a legislative welfare initiative aimed at providing state MLAs with official vehicles and financial support to improve constituency mobility. Addressing the Assembly, the Chief Minister confirmed that the state government will provide official cars to all members to enable them to travel regularly throughout their constituencies and attend to public grievances.

Under the logistical package, each MLA will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 75,000 to cover driver salaries, fuel, and vehicle maintenance, alongside a monthly grant of Rs 25,000 to hire an assistant for their constituent offices. The initiative follows representations made in the House by VCK MLA Jothimani, who highlighted that many newly elected representatives struggled to cover transport expenses out of pocket whilst meeting local constituents and district administration officials.

Alongside the political welfare measures, the state government outlined significant infrastructure expansions in healthcare and medical education under a series of Rule 110 statements. The administration announced an allocation of Rs 351 crore to create 6,098 additional seats across medical, nursing, and paramedical courses, supported by the creation of seven new government nursing colleges.

Healthcare infrastructure will be further strengthened by establishing a 400-bed multi-speciality hospital in Perambalur at an estimated cost of Rs 300 crore. Furthermore, the annual coverage limit under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme will increase fivefold from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh, expanding specialised medical and surgical services for transgender persons across major government hospitals. Additional announcements included an increase in raw milk procurement prices to support over 300,000 dairy farmers across Tamil Nadu.
