Kerala Health Minister Veena George met with an accident near Manjeri on Wednesday morning while en route to the landslide-affected Wayanad district to oversee the rescue operations there.

 

According to the police, the accident took place at around 7:10 a.m. when the minister's vehicle collided with a two-wheeler.

Following the incident, the minister was transported to the government medical college in Manjeri. Police stated that her condition was not critical.
