Governor Kavinder Gupta on Friday called on globally renowned spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Foundation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, in Bengaluru.
The Governor had a warm and cordial interaction with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, during which they exchanged views on spiritual values, human welfare, and the promotion of peace and harmony in society.
Gupta appreciated Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s invaluable contribution in spreading the message of peace, compassion, and spirituality not only across India but also around the world. He also discussed the potential for the Art of Living Foundation to further extend its humanitarian, educational, and wellness initiatives in Himachal Pradesh for the benefit of the people.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar expressed his commitment to the welfare of society and the nation at large.
Notably, the Governor visited the Art of Living International Centre in Bengaluru in connection with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s 70th birthday celebrations.
