Assam Chief Minister and co-election in-charge of Jharkhand, Himanta Biswa Sarma, accused Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren of disrespecting former CM Champai Soren and committing his political murder.

 

Speaking at a party programme in Ranchi, Himanta stated, "Champai Soren was running a better government than Hemant Soren. Hemant Soren just wants the chair. Hemant has committed the political murder of Champai Soren."

 

Himanta questioned the development in Jharkhand under Hemant Soren's leadership. "What development has happened in Jharkhand? How many people got jobs? This government has said that an allowance will be provided if jobs are not given. Hemant Soren had made this promise during the elections," he said.

 

The Assam CM criticised Hemant Soren for not working for the welfare of the tribal community. "If Hemant Soren is the leader of the tribals, he should at least work for the welfare of the tribal society. Just taking their votes will not do it. Infiltration is happening in Jharkhand. Stop infiltration. Jharkhand is being made into a small Bangladesh," Himanta remarked.

 

Biswa Sarma alleged that the Jharkhand government is not enforcing laws against infiltration. "Every infiltrator is marrying tribal girls, but the law is not being implemented. After the BJP government comes to power, a system should be created to regulate marriages between tribal girls and infiltrators to prevent exploitation," he asserted.

 

Highlighting the issue of changing demographics, Himanta noted, "In Assam, the Muslim population has increased to 40 per cent, whereas in 1951 it was 12 per cent. We have lost district after district. This issue is not political; it is a matter of life and death. I will fight for this till my last breath."

 

Targeting the Jharkhand CM, Biswa Sarma added, "No tribal leader is seen with Hemant. Brokers are seen all around Hemant. Hemant has made Jharkhand a mini Bangladesh. History will not forgive Hemant. He has extracted gold from sand. He is only running a government of lies."
