Police reported that a collision between a mini-truck and a trailer truck in Punjab's Faridkot district resulted in the death of five individuals and left an equal number injured on Friday. 

 

The incident transpired on the Kotkapura-Moga road when the mini-truck, carrying 10 passengers, collided with the trailer truck.

 

Five people, including two women, died on the spot and the five people injured were taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

 

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, they said.
