National BJP leader Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, while addressing a party workers’ meeting at Giaspura in Ludhiana South constituency, made strong remarks against Pakistan-based terror networks.
He said reports of the killing of Pulwama attack mastermind Hamza Burhan in Muzaffarabad, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, have brought relief and satisfaction among nationalist citizens. He described Burhan as linked to Pakistan-ISI terror machinery and responsible for anti-India activities.
Grewal said the Pulwama attack was an assault on India’s sovereignty and the sacrifice of CRPF personnel. He alleged that Pakistan has long been sheltering terror groups and supporting networks involved in cross-border violence against India.
He further said that terrorism, drug trafficking and illegal arms trade continue to operate from across the border, posing a threat to peace and security.
Grewal said there should be zero tolerance towards terrorism and stressed the need to dismantle terror infrastructure completely. He added that Indian security forces remain strong and fully capable of responding to any threat to the nation.
He said the country stands united with its armed forces in the fight against terrorism and that any attack on India will be met with a strong response.
