Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij escaped unhurt after his car was involved in a minor accident in Ambala Cantonment late last night.

 

The incident occurred around 10 pm when another car, driven by a sub-inspector of the Haryana Police’s Special Task Force, hit the minister’s vehicle. Security personnel detained the driver at the spot, and he was later granted bail.

 

Police said the accident took place near Maharaja Dhaba. A case has been registered, and the driver’s medical examination was conducted. He has joined the investigation, which is ongoing.

 

Ambala SP Ajit Singh Shekhawat said Vij was returning after attending an event when the accident occurred. No injuries were reported.
