Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, has announced that his company is set to construct a cutting-edge kitchen facility at Tirumala, which will be exclusively dedicated to the Sri Venkateswara Anna Prasadam Trust.
This significant initiative will be implemented in collaboration with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and will have the backing of the Andhra Pradesh government. The new kitchen is designed to feature advanced automation and will possess the capacity to prepare and serve in excess of 200,000 nutritious meals, known as Anna Prasadam, daily to all devotees.
The announcement followed Ambani’s visit to Tirumala on Sunday morning.
Tirumala, according to the press release, stands as an eternal symbol of faith, compassion, and selfless service. The company stated, “Through this effort, we are deeply humbled to contribute to N Chandrababu Naidu’s noble vision of extending the Anna Seva (food service) tradition to all TTD temples.”
In addition to the Tirumala project, Ambani also visited the Guruvayur Sri Krishna temple, situated in the town of Guruvayur, Thrissur, Kerala, where he made a donation of ₹5 crore to the temple.
