Coming off a comprehensive 47-run victory over Afghanistan, a win against Bangladesh would almost secure a semifinal berth for the Men in Blue.

India is set to face Bangladesh in their second T20 World Cup Super 8 match at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua, on June 22.

Coming off a comprehensive 47-run victory over Afghanistan, a win against Bangladesh would almost secure a semifinal berth for the Men in Blue.

The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, may make some changes to address recent performance issues. Both Sharma and Virat Kohli have struggled to score runs, leaving India vulnerable in the powerplay.

The experiment of Kohli as an opener has not yielded the desired results, and he may be moved back to the No.

3 position.

This adjustment could pave the way for Yashasvi Jaiswal to join the playing XI, potentially replacing Ravindra Jadeja, who has underperformed throughout the tournament.

Jadeja’s lackluster showing has been a concern, and the team management might finally decide to drop him.

Additionally, Arshdeep Singh's expensive spell against Afghanistan raises the possibility of Mohammed Siraj replacing him in the lineup.

Shivam Dube’s continued poor form has also been a setback, as India seeks more firepower in their batting lineup.

Suryakumar Yadav's performance against Afghanistan was a bright spot, but India will need more consistent contributions from their top-order batsmen.

Sanju Samson, who had an impressive IPL season, could be given a chance in this crucial match. His experience and track record in similar conditions make him a valuable addition to the squad.

India’s probable XI for the Bangladesh clash includes: Rohit Sharma (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah.
