Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, expressed solidarity with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the "fight against injustice" on Friday, as he wished Kejriwal a happy 56th birthday.

 

"Hearty birthday wishes to Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal. I hope you stay healthy and happy," Gandhi said on X.

 

"INDIA is with you in this fight against injustice," he said.

 

The Congress and AAP are both part of the INDIA bloc in the national arena.

 

Kejriwal, who also serves as the AAP national convenor, was taken into custody by the ED on March 21 in connection with a money laundering case related to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam.

 

Although the Supreme Court has provided him with interim bail in the money laundering case, he remains incarcerated following his arrest by the CBI in a related issue.
