Former Haryana Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has accused the BJP of cheating Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes (SC-OBC) by taking their votes and then depriving them of education, jobs, and reservation.

He criticised the saffron party for reducing the creamy layer limit, which led to lakhs of OBC families being deprived of reservation, and thousands of youth being denied government jobs and admission to government educational institutions.

Hooda also questioned the BJP's intention behind its decision to end OBC reservation and demanded an apology from the party for its actions. He raised several questions about the government's handling of reservations, jobs, and welfare schemes for backward classes.

Regarding the Agniveer scheme, Hooda said that the 10% reservation announced for Agniveers in security forces is unjustified and seems like an attempt to mislead people. He demanded that the scheme be completely abolished and that 100% of youth recruited should get a chance to serve in the Army.

On the issue of crime in the state, Hooda said that Haryana has become the most unsafe state in the country, with the Home Ministry admitting that every day 3 to 4 people are being killed. He accused the government of trying to hide its failure by referring to encounters done by the Delhi Police.

Hooda also highlighted the Congress party's achievements during its tenure, including the establishment of various educational institutions, industries, and infrastructure projects. He criticised the BJP for not having any achievements to showcase despite being in power for 10 years and said that the party's report card for 10 years is marked by the highest debt, unemployment, inflation, crime, drug addiction, and migration of youth.
