AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Friday urged students and young people across the country to raise their voices against recurring examination paper leaks, alleging that the problem has evolved into a large-scale racket involving powerful and influential individuals.
His appeal comes a day before Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke is scheduled to lead a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on June 6, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over controversies related to and CBSE examinations.
In a post on X, Kejriwal said paper leaks have become a deeply entrenched issue and argued that meaningful action would only be taken if students, parents and citizens collectively exert sustained pressure on the government. “Paper leaks are a business worth billions and trillions. This racket involves very big-shot people. Until all of you take to the streets and force the government to act, this racket won't stop. Next year, there will be the same mess in all the papers again,” he wrote.

Calling for a united public response, Kejriwal added, “For the sake of your children's future, for your family's future, for the country's future — all of you come together and demand: enough is enough, we won't tolerate this anymore.” The issue of examination integrity has become a major concern in recent months, with repeated allegations of paper leaks, irregularities and result-related controversies raising questions about the transparency and credibility of India's competitive examination system.
The debate intensified after the NEET UG 2026 examination was cancelled shortly after it was conducted on May 3, triggering widespread criticism and anxiety among students and parents. More recently, controversy erupted over the declaration of CBSE Class 12 board examination results under the OSM system. Several students and parents reported issues including incorrect marking, blurred answer-sheet scans and repeated technical glitches on the re-evaluation portal, further fuelling concerns about the examination process.
Opposition parties have seized upon these developments to criticise the Narendra Modi government, with several leaders demanding accountability and seeking the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Cockroach Janta Party to protest on June 6
Meanwhile, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced that he will lead a demonstration at Jantar Mantar on June 6, with the primary demand being the resignation of the Education Minister over the recent examination controversies.
Adding momentum to the protest call, climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has also extended his support to the movement. Wangchuk said he would join the June 6 protest if no concrete action is taken by June 5, backing the demand for accountability and the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan in light of the ongoing controversies surrounding national examinations.
