BJP Prepares For Polls With New In-Charges in 4 States.

BJP national president J P Nadda has made strategic appointments for the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand, and Jammu and Kashmir. The appointments were announced on Monday, highlighting the party's preparations for these crucial state polls.

In a letter dated June 17, Arun Singh, the National General Secretary and Headquarters In-charge, detailed the new appointments. For Maharashtra, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav has been appointed as the state election in-charge, with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav serving as the state election co-in-charge. This dynamic duo is expected to steer the party's campaign in one of India's most politically significant states.

In Haryana, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has been designated as the state election in-charge. Assisting him will be former Chief Minister and current Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb, who has been appointed as the state election co-in-charge. Their combined experience and leadership are anticipated to galvanise the party's efforts in the state.

For Jharkhand, Union Minister and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been appointed as the state election in-charge. He will be supported by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, who will serve as the state election co-in-charge. This pairing aims to bring a blend of seasoned political strategy and dynamic leadership to the campaign.

In Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has been entrusted with the role of state election in-charge. His appointment underscores the importance the BJP places on the region, which has been under significant political focus since the abrogation of Article 370.

Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Haryana are scheduled to go to polls later this year, although the exact dates have yet to be announced. These appointments reflect the BJP's meticulous approach to election management, aiming to leverage the strengths of its senior leaders to secure favourable outcomes in these states.

The announcement of these in-charges and co-in-charges signals the BJP's readiness to engage in intense electioneering in the coming months. Each of these leaders brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record, which the party hopes will translate into electoral success.

As the election dates draw closer, these appointees will play crucial roles in shaping the BJP's strategies and mobilising support across their respective states.
