Nibin Maxwell, 31, killed in terror strike by Hezbollah on Israel.

The Israeli embassy in India announced on Tuesday that Hezbollah carried out a terror strike at the border with Lebanon in Northern Israel on Monday, killing one Indian and injuring two others.

As per media reports, the dead is 31-year-old Nibin Maxwell, Pathrose Maxwell’s son, from the Kollam region of Kerala, adding the remaining two injured are also from Kerala and were working on a farm in Israel.

The Israeli embassy said in a statement, “We are deeply shocked and saddened by the death of one Indian national and the injury of two others as a result of a cowardly terror attack launched by Shia terror organisation Hezbollah on peaceful agriculture workers cultivating an orchard in the northern village of Margaliot yesterday early afternoon.”

“We offer our sincere condolences to the families of those killed and injured in the attack,” added the embassy.

“Israeli medical institutions are entirely dedicated to treating the injured with the greatest medical experts available.

All Israeli and foreign nationals who are injured or killed as a result of terrorism are treated equally. We will be there to support and help the families.

Our nations, who are all too familiar with civilian tragedy, stand together in the hope of a fast recovery for the injured and consolation for the bereaved families,” the Israeli embassy in India stated.

Meanwhile, the local media in Israel claimed that Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets toward northern Israel on Monday night.

The rocket attack caused damage and knocked out electricity in many communities, after the military hit targets in Lebanon following the terror group’s fatal cross-border strike earlier that day.

Yesterday’s Hezbollah attack is a response to Israel’s recent attack inside Lebanese territory.

According to the Israel Defence Forces, at least ten rockets were fired from Lebanon into the Western Galilee. The Iron Dome air defense system stopped several of the missiles.

Fighting continues in Gaza, with Israeli defense forces claiming to have killed Islamic Jihad militants who fired rockets toward Kibbutz Be’eri and Kibbutz Hatzerim.

Fifteen terrorists were killed by sniper, tank, and aircraft fire. IDF soldiers also hit terrorist objectives and killed terrorists operating from civilian areas in Western Khan Yunis.
