As One More Indian Die in the Russian Army ( Tejpal Singh ), EAM Urges Russia to Not Include Indian National in the Armed Forces.

India has been urging Russia to ensure the safety and return of its citizens serving in the Russian military. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra emphasised this during a media briefing following the death of two more Indian nationals in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Kwatra stated that since the beginning, India has been in constant discussions with Russian authorities to address the issue. Efforts are focused on ensuring the safety of all Indian nationals in the conflict zone and facilitating their return to India.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed the deaths of the two individuals and expressed India's strong stance on the matter to Russia. India demanded the immediate release and repatriation of all Indian nationals associated with the Russian Army.

In a proactive move, the Indian government has taken swift action upon receiving information about Indians in the conflict zone. Contact has been made with their families, investigations initiated, and requests made to Russian authorities for responses and assistance.

The deaths of Indian nationals serving with the Russian military highlight the challenges faced by individuals involved in such deployments. Tejpal Singh, who aspired to serve in the Army, tragically lost his life while serving abroad. His family's distress underscores the human toll of conflicts in distant lands.

The situation is compounded by the complexities of repatriating the deceased. Parminder Kaur, Singh's wife, recounts the painful ordeal of learning about her husband's death and the uncertainty surrounding the retrieval of his body.

The family's plea for assistance from the Russian army and the Ministry of External Affairs reflects their desperate desire for closure and dignity in performing the last rites.

India's engagement with Russian authorities underscores the government's commitment to safeguarding its citizens' interests, even in international conflicts. The pressing need for diplomatic interventions and humanitarian considerations is evident as India navigates the challenges of securing the return of its nationals and addressing their families' concerns.

In the face of adversity, the Indian government remains steadfast in its efforts to protect its citizens and uphold their rights, both at home and abroad. As the nation mourns the loss of its brave souls, it stands united in supporting their families and ensuring justice and closure in their final journey home.
