Putting an end to months of speculation, actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Monday got married to “The Family Man” co-creator Raj Nidimoru in a private ceremony at Sadhguru’s Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The ceremony was attended only by the couple’s closest friends and family.
Samantha and Raj shared the news on social media on Monday afternoon with a series of pictures from their wedding.
Samantha looked radiant in a traditional red saree with intricate zari work. She wore her hair up in a bun adorned with fresh flowers and completed her look with heavy gold jewellery. Raj complemented her perfectly in a white kurta set layered with a beige Nehru jacket.
Before the ceremony, the couple exchanged rings in front of Linga Bhairavi and posed joyfully for the cameras. The 38-year-old actress proudly showed off her stunning wedding ring. In another photo, the couple can be seen kneeling in front of the Goddess. The last picture shows the elated couple walking through a decorated doorway.
Reports suggest that Samantha and Raj arrived in Coimbatore on Sunday evening for the wedding ceremony.

Speculation around the secret marriage ceremony began doing the rounds on social media on Sunday night when Raj’s former wife Sshyamali De made a cryptic post that read: “Desperate people do desperate things."
The couple was rumoured to be in a relationship since 2024 but never publicly confirmed it. Dating rumours intensified earlier this year when the actress shared several pictures from the World Pickleball League in which she was seen seated beside Raj in the stands, cheering for her team, the Chennai Super Champs.
The duo first collaborated on season 2 of “The Family Man” in 2021. Samantha played a pivotal role in the series and earned widespread acclaim for her stellar performance. Her professional association with Raj continued with “Citadel: Honey Bunny”, co-starring Varun Dhawan, further strengthening their bond.
This wedding marks the second marriage for both Samantha and Raj. Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. After their highly publicised wedding in 2017, the couple parted ways in 2021. Naga later married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024. Raj, meanwhile, was married to Sshyamali De, before separating in 2022.
