The sequel sees Ranveer Singh reprise his role as undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who continues his dangerous double life as Hamza Ali Mazari within the criminal underworld.

Mumbai’s nightlife reached a fever pitch on Tuesday as Ranveer Singh made a high-octane appearance at the music launch for 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'. With the film’s theatrical release set for March 19, the actor's arrival was met with the kind of thunderous reception that has become his trademark, effectively turning the promotional event into a massive fan celebration.

Dressed in a characteristically edgy ensemble — a black leather biker jacket over a graphic tee and tactical boots — Singh appeared visibly moved by the crowd's energy. During the event, he also took a trip down memory lane, engaging the audience on tracks from the original movie. As fans shouted out various hits, Singh noted that the franchise's strength lies in its musical diversity. "Everyone has a different favourite," he remarked, "and that is exactly what makes this special."

The sequel sees Singh reprise his role as undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who continues his dangerous double life as Hamza Ali Mazari within the criminal underworld. Singh teased that the anticipation for this second instalment has gone global. "It isn't just India; people from all over the world are waiting for this," he said, before playfully echoing a line from the first film: "Now, the future of Indian cinema will be decided by 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'!"

The night, however, wasn't just about the leading man. Jasmine Sandlas, the voice behind the hit 'Shararat', delivered an electrifying live performance, while co-star Sara Arjun — who plays Yalina Jamali — also joined the festivities. With a heavyweight cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan in the sequel, the movie promises to be a much darker look at the terror networks hinted at in the first movie. The recently released song 'Aari Aari', which includes elements of heavy music and rap, has already set the tone for what fans can expect when the curtains go up this Thursday.
