The "Flowers" singer is not planning a huge or traditional event, reports suggest.

Actor-singer Miley Cyrus and her fiancé Maxx Morando want their wedding to be "smaller and meaningful" rather than a "huge" event.

The "Flowers" singer has "ideas" about her wedding but she is not planning a huge or traditional event, reports suggest.

"Maxx is extremely private, and that's just not who he is. When they do get married, it will be something smaller and meaningful to them. Not a big Hollywood production," a source close to the couple said.

"Miley really loves her life right now. Everything just feels like it's falling into place for her," the source added.

A day after the engagement news broke in December last year, Cyrus, 33, expressed her amazement that Morando, 27, succeeded in keeping his proposal plan under wraps.

“I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered,” Cyrus said during a December 3 appearance on “Good Morning America”.

“And I’m telling you, I was so, so, so surprised,” she said.

She added that she "of course" said "yes" to the musician and confirmed that he "did good" when it came to picking out her engagement ring.

Cyrus was first spotted wearing the striking ring around mid-November. The “bespoke” ring by jewellery designer Jacquie Aiche features a cushion-cut diamond set on a thick, 14-karat yellow gold band.

The Grammy winner and her drummer fiancé were first linked romantically in December 2021, when they were photographed cozying up backstage during Miley’s NBC holiday special, “Miley's New Year's Eve Party”, in Miami.

In April 2022, they confirmed their romance when they were spotted kissing while out in West Hollywood.

Meanwhile, on work front, Cyrus will revisit her “Hannah Montana” days in the upcoming “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special”, set to release on Disney+ on March 24.

“The fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I’m very proud of," she said in a statement in press release announcing the much-anticipated special. "This ‘Hannahversary’ is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who have stood by me for 20 years.”
