Khloé had previously explained why she took over as Amari’s primary caretaker after the death of his mother.

Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian has hit out at trolls for "gross commentary" over her ex Tristan Thompson’s 19-year-old brother, Amari, who suffers from Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS), a form of epilepsy.

On December 13, “The Kardashians” star (41) took to social media to shut down negative comments on photos and videos of Amari having fun at a dance class, defending his right to attend without judgment.

“Last time I posted Amari in his dance class, I heard some ridiculous commentary about, ‘How is this dance? Does he even know what’s going on?’”

Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Stories: “All of this gross commentary that I don’t need, no one needs, so if you don’t know or if you have never had someone with special needs in your life and you don't know what their interests are and what makes them happy, don’t comment.”

“And if you don’t like this type of content, you don’t have to watch it,” the Good American founder added. “We’re all good over here.”

Khloé went on to share a video of Amari dancing along to songs like “We’re All in This Together”. She also shared a photo of herself and Amari with all of his “amazing” instructors at the academy.

“It’s so beautiful and it's so special and these kids are so happy and I don't know how someone would cry by being in these classes. It's so beautiful,” she said.

Khloé, who shares two children, 7-year-old daughter True and 3-year-old son Tatum, with Tristan, had previously explained why she took over as Amari’s primary caretaker after the death of his mother, Andrea Thompson, in January 2023.

“For those who don't know, Tristan has a younger brother who is 18-years-old, and he is severely disabled” she explained during an “Ask Me Anything” episode of her “Khloé in Wonder Land” podcast in July just ahead of Amari’s 19th birthday. “He can't walk or talk. He's never been able to talk.”

Since Andrea was “the sole caretaker for Amari” when they lived in Canada, Khloé explained that “we—me, Tristan, my whole family—took Amari back with us to the States” after her death.

And since Tristan has a busy NBA schedule that entails a lot of travelling, Khloé clarified that she has “chosen” to take care of his brother and loves “having Amari be a part of my family.”
