R&B singer Kehlani is set to drop her fifth studio album, “Kehlani,” on April 24.
Earlier this month, the singer announced on social media that the album was complete and had been mastered.
According to a release, the self-titled project “captures her at her most honest, blending soul-baring storytelling with the lush, genre-bending sound that has made her one of modern R&B’s most influential voices.”
Kehlani has been gearing up for the record with the release of lead singles “Folded” and “Out the Window.”
“Folded” was a superhit, peaking at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spawning a series of remixes from Brandy, JoJo and Toni Braxton, among others.

In February, she won her first two Grammy Awards with “Folded” in the best R&B performance and best R&B song categories.
Though little is known about the album, Kehlani explained in a November interview that it’s a “very confident body of work.”
“I wanted to make a great R&B album and I’m working on making a great R&B album with some of my favorite people of all time who I’ve always loved,” she said. “For some reason, everything is falling perfectly into place.”
