“Barbie” star Alexandra Shipp will be seen in the role of a morgue assistant in the upcoming psychological horror film “The Autopsy Of Albert Kemper”.
The film is helmed by writer-director David Benullo and is currently under production in Minnesota. It also features Eric Stoltz and David Howard Thornton, who plays Art the Clown in the “Terrifier” films.
“The Autopsy of Albert Kemper” follows the story of Riley Shaw (played by Shipp), a morgue assistant who faces a terrifying night when the dead body of a notorious serial killer starts showing signs of something mysterious that is beyond death.
While Thornton plays the titular villain, Albert Kemper, details about Stoltz’s role are being kept under wraps for now.

Reports suggest that the film is inspired from the happenings in the aftermath of Jeffrey Dahmer’s death when rumours were rife that the authorities had handcuffed the serial killer’s body to the gurney in the fear that he might “rise again.”
The film is produced by Dana Guerin of Epic Level Entertainment, John Frank Rosenblum, Jim Strader, Mandy June Turpin, and Tracy Mercer.
Shipp recently completed the shoot of “Forbidden Fruits” that also features Lili Reinhart, Lola Tung, and Victoria Pedretti.
Her latest projects include Brian Cox’s directorial debut “Glenrothan” with Alan Cumming, which premiered at TIFF, and thriller “Violent Ends” with Billy Magnussen that released in October.
