After holding two huge rallies in Delhi and Mumbai to show the opposition’s show of strength ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, several top leaders of the INDI Alliance will reach Ranchi on April 21 to participate in the ‘Nyay Ulgulan Rally’ being hosted by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.

 

Prominent leaders who will participate in the rally, include Rahul Gandhi, Lalu Prasad, Tejaswi Yadav, Mallikarjun Kharge, AAP leader Sanjay Singh, Arvind Kejriwal's wife, Sunita Kejriwal, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Farooq Abdullah from National Conference and Deepankar Bhattacharya of CPI (ML).

 

West Bengal Chief Minister and AITMC leader Mamata Banerjee and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are also likely to attend the rally, scheduled to be organised at the Prabhat Tara Maidan in Ranchi on April 21.

 

JMM's spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that a rally was held at Morhabadi ground in 2001. People have been gathering since morning to join the rally. It was the biggest rally in Jharkhand. It was the month of June and even after the rally ended, people still reached the rally till the next morning.

 

He said that this Nyaya Ulgulan Maharally will also be historic. Based on conversations with senior leaders in the state, it is estimated that more than 3 lakh JMM workers alone will gather. At the same time, 2 lakh workers of other parties will also gather. About five lakh people are expected to gather at the rally.

 

He also said that this rally is taking place in Jharkhand just before the elections. Therefore, in Jharkhand, it will be called the conch sound of elections. He said that all possible arrangements will be made for the workers at the rally venue.
