In a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Bansuri Swaraj, the BJP leader and party candidate from the New Delhi Lok Sabha parliamentary seat, criticised the alleged deplorable conditions prevailing in Mohalla Clinics across the city.

Addressing a gathering on Sunday, Swaraj accused the AAP government of distributing fake medicines in Mohalla Clinics and highlighted the absence of medical professionals treating patients. She contrasted this with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative of providing good quality and affordable medicines through Janaushadhi Kendra.

"While PM Modi ensures the distribution of good quality and affordable medicines through Janaushadhi Kendra, the AAP government, on the contrary, is accused of circulating counterfeit medicines in Mohalla Clinics. Instead of doctors, administrative staff are reportedly attending to patients in these clinics. Is this what the Delhi Model entails?" Swaraj questioned.

She further criticised the AAP government for alleged corruption in the Jal Board, contrasting it with BJP's efforts in providing tap water connections to every household.

"BJP delivers tap water connections to every household, while AAP is accused of committing a Jal Board Scam," Swaraj stated. "The people of Delhi are disillusioned with Kejriwal's corruption, yet he remains indifferent to their plight, engrossed in power and scandals. Today, AAP is staging a sympathy drama, but the people of Delhi see through their charade," she added.

The Lok Sabha elections in the national capital are scheduled to take place in a single phase on May 25. It's noteworthy that the BJP secured victories in all seven seats in both the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
