Congress is yet to finalize candidates for six Lok Sabha seats including Guna, Vidisha, Gwalior, Morena, Khandwa, and Damoh.

On Saturday, Congress announced its fourth list of 12 Lok Sabha candidates for Madhya Pradesh, featuring notable figures and fresh contenders for key constituencies.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh will make a comeback to the electoral arena from Rajgarh, marking his return after 33 years. Singh, who previously clinched the LS seat from Rajgarh in 1991, will face BJP candidate Rodmal Nagar this time, shifting from his unsuccessful bid in Bhopal during the last election, where he lost to BJP's Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur.

Among other significant nominations, senior tribal leader Kantilal Bhuria secures the party ticket for the Ratlam seat, reserved for ST candidates. Arun Shrivastava is set to represent Bhopal, while Akshay Bam and Guddu Raja Bundela will contest from Indore and Sagar respectively.

The lineup also includes Nilam Mishra (Rewa), Phundelal Marko (Shahdol-ST), Advocate Dinesh Yadav (Jabalpur), Samrat Saraswat (Balaghat), Sanjay Sharma (Hoshangabad), Mahesh Parmar (Ujjain-SC), and Dilip Singh Gurjar (Mandsaur).

Notably, Congress is yet to finalize candidates for six Lok Sabha seats including Guna, Vidisha, Gwalior, Morena, Khandwa, and Damoh.

The Khajuraho LS seat has been allocated to alliance partner Samajwadi Party, while former State Congress President Arun Yadav has expressed interest in contesting from the Guna Lok Sabha constituency.
