Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh, who recently walked out of Tihar Jail after spending six months in custody, has issued a stern warning to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Singh emphasised that the BJP's strategy of imprisoning Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other senior AAP leaders won't result in achieving their objectives.

During his time in jail, Singh delved into the lives of iconic figures like Nelson Mandela, Bhagat Singh, and Mahatma Gandhi, drawing inspiration from their struggles for democracy. Reflecting on his experience, Singh highlighted the resilience needed by those committed to upholding democratic values.

Singh reaffirmed AAP's dedication to safeguarding democracy in India, pledging to continue the party's fight under Kejriwal's leadership. He cautioned the BJP against the misconception that by incarcerating Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Satyender Jain, they would succeed in stifling AAP's movement.

The Supreme Court recently granted bail to Sanjay Singh, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with an alleged money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor policy scam. Singh's release follows a six-month stint in custody, underscoring the ongoing legal battles faced by AAP leaders.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia are also embroiled in the same case, facing judicial custody until April 15. Kejriwal's recent arrest stems from his alleged involvement in the now-scrapped Delhi liquor policy, with the Enforcement Directorate accusing AAP of benefiting from the illicit proceeds.

The ED contends that Kejriwal played a direct role in formulating the excise policy, implicating AAP as a significant beneficiary of the alleged liquor scam. Despite the legal challenges, AAP remains steadfast in its commitment to its political agenda, vowing to navigate through the obstacles posed by the BJP-led government.

In the face of adversity, AAP continues to assert its resilience, with leaders like Sanjay Singh emerging from incarceration with renewed determination to advance their cause. As the political landscape evolves, the battle between AAP and BJP intensifies, with each side fiercely contesting for dominance in the national arena.
